ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Yes but there is absolutely no evidence to suggest the money is illicit is there?
Well sportswashing doesn't make sense when you are throwing 40m at Fabinho ffs. And inflating value for FFP has nothing to do with Saudi Arabia because they aren't beholden to it and it doesn't make sense for them to "help" rivals now.

The whole thing just stinks so badly to me.

Basted club with basted fans yet as Guardiola said "everyone supports Liverpool ". Just goes to show how dumb the British public are these days the way they just all follow each other like irish sheep.

Weird that a story popped up from GiveMeSport on my Apple News feed about Everton losing a pre season game on penalties.

I looked and thought “wasn’t that like 4 years ago, but it was written today”? And what a strange sub-headline to go with for an online news publication, bit unprofessional, like.

Who’s Rob Hoskin?

Ah, gotcha. Another news source to block. They’re infiltrated in the media like rats up a kilt. But they just can’t help but give themselves away.

Is that not exactly what sportswashing is though?

Using your financial muscle to buy sport that people want to see and therefore they will overlook other issues (such as human rights abuse). Overpaying to get well known players that in turn leads to people wanting to watch is the very essence of sportswashing.

See Qatar World cup, LIV golf etc.
