Spot on.
He is obviously looked up to by a lot of fans, his words, his actions would have given some of the more marginalised supporters strength to be who they are. They might actually now be back in their shells or similar, and skeptical of other words and actions from footballers and other sportspeople.
Henderson won't give a crap though and that is the disgusting part. He has shown his true colours. I have seen a lot of comments on the Hitzlsperger tweet, saying things relating to what has he done for them but even one comment from somebody's hero can have a massive positive effect on a person.

My take on the NHS premier league captains thing is this.
People were getting furloughed as there wasn't work for huge sections of the population. Football came to a standstill so the public started to question why people earning millions aren't being furloughed when people on minimum and modest wages were. Henderson quickly nipped this in the bud by donating a tiny tiny fraction of his wages. It was self serving and self preservation.
Wonder when the RS masses who are lauding Henderson getting the big money will finally wake up and see the connection between this and the huge energy bills they are paying.
