ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Looking like Arsenal are the club losing £9 million a week, with John Cross the Arsenal journalist at Arsenal having contacts there this Tweet pretty confirms they are the club he was talking about.

246 Deaths in Liverpool
17,000 plus Nationally

Therefore Liverpool account for just over 1 per cent of national total.

With a population of 60m 1per cent plus is 600-800k

So the number of deaths in the Liverpool area should not be viewed as statistically outside the Standard Deviation or remotely attributed to the RS game.

But then there wouldn't be an angle.

Chat is that we're not doing as well as other regions, still having an increase in numbers. Hopefully that slows down this week.

According to the BBC case check map, the population of Liverpool is just under half a million.

Even using the assumption of the bigger population of 1%, the number of deaths is 1.44%. 0.44% doesn't sound significant, but as a percentage of 1 it is pretty big.

Yes it is 500k. But you have to add all the surrounding area outside Liverpool

I'm not sure how this proves it was Arsenal mate?

Cross has good connections at Arsenal, but also at Liverpool, and the Mirror is very well connected in Liverpool/Manchester.

Arsenal do not turn over enough money for it to be them. If it's not Liverpool, it's most like to be United in my view.

However I wouldn't become too bogged down on the team. All of the top 6 are in serious trouble if this has any degree of truth to it. It shows sponsors are essentially withholding payments. That's the context of this story.

Look at it another way, if its Arsenal, what state must Liverpool and Spurs be in who actually went to furlough in March where Arsenal didint?
