ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They’ve still locked the covid thread over on rake. They don’t like bad news. If they ran things like here there would be no Everton related threads open.
on the BBC that they have suspended season ticket renewals for next season. The writing is on the wall lurkers, the fat lady is going through her warm up routine and kopites are still gobshoites.

Ozil refuses to take a cut in his £350,000 a week wages, allegedly. What a nice man he must be.
I believe Ozil does a huge amount for charity, particularly children’s charities. Maybe the wage cut would affect that or he wants to know where his money is actually going. There’s more to it than what the media are putting out

He is being royally shafted by someone at Arsenal. Several other, unnamed, players have not signed up to this neither.

It doesn't paint a particularly good picture of Arsenal currently, or if we are frank of football more broadly. This whole episode, from owners, to the league, to the players hasn't really shown anyone in a positive light, and paints the picture to me at least, of a group of people who seem wholly out of touch with what is likely to face them if and when they come back.

Football didnt exactly start this nightmare from a position of moral authority did it?

Just heard on Radio Merseyside news there that the RS have halted season ticket renewals. Can't be them losing that money then? I reckon its Spurs. That stadium isn't paying for itself while its empty.

In laws are RS season ticket holders. They’re pensioners and have had letter from LFC - been told no refunds, don’t know when season will restart and will get £ credit for next season but no guarantee that season ticket prices will stay same next season. So £1 credit for this season will be worth less than £1 for next season aat LFC’s discretion.

I just laughed

the way the two clubs deal with people, be it staff or fans, is stark.
