2.

And they only got 1 of them. The Phil Jones on Joe Allen was soft, most teams would never have gotten that. The Vidic on Sturridge was ridiculous.

What was the fifth one? I don't even remember anyone saying more than 4.

The 3 they got, were all pens.

Allen one was apen, and Suarez in first half, Fellaini had 2 goes at him.

Don't forget that Johnson is allowed to handle the ball in the area and it is not a pen. Why has it only been Danny Mills that has called Sturridge a diver and why hasn't Clattenberg been demonised in the media and calls for him to be demoted to ref non league football this week?

The Sturridge dive was an unbelievable decision by Clattenberg, there was no one blocking his view, he was 10 yards right behind the dive and still saw contact.

Andy Johnson loved a dive, as did Arteta.

We just cant afford these fast attacking types, we end up with Naismiths & Ossy jogging at them!!

As soon as Johnson signed, you knew the score,he came with the reputation of a "diver" I think Warnock,Wenger and Mourinho had a right pop at him when he was here and by the end of his time at EFC,he wouldn't have got a pen if a sniper was in the crowd and took him out in the penalty area!!felt sorry for AJ,he would try to stay on his feet and was denied genuine pens on an almost weekly basis with us.

There doesnt need to be contact. Vidic dived into the tackle and sturridge had to move out of the way. Stop sounding like RAWK

I remember when AJ was decimated in the area by the opposition goalie. Put him out for 6 months. No pen, of course.

Liverpool fans sound like Jimmy Savile's relatives the week after he died.

So you're saying a well-timed sliding tackle, in which the defender gets the ball cleanly and forces the attacking player to hurdle him, is a foul? Give your head a shake.

Course there needs to be contact, this is a contact sport so if we start giving away fouls and pens for no contact then where the hell do we go with the rules of the game.

If Sturridge had stayed on his feet, which he could have as there was no contact and he did not trip himself up or slip, then it would have not been a pen. Because he went over like Vidic had swiped his leg the ref gave the pen.

That is cheating and needs to be stopped, sliding tackles do not need to be stopped.
