This 'Liverpool dont spend loads' bollocks. How on earth does a story like that get off the ground? They are a fat cat club, passed about from one billionaire to another, that pay tens of millions for players - some of whom then get loaned out.

Has here ever been a bigger nonsense peddled than this?

I'm agog at the amount of crap I'm reading where they're painted as paupers or flag bearers for good ethics and morals.

It's usually perpetuated by themselves or ex employees but its staggering that no one is pulling them up on it in the media.

It's one thing them winning the league but them trying to bestow themselves such qualities is quite nauseating.

May we never ever have their shame.

I don't quite know how the cult have managed it, but many fans of other (non-Sky) clubs I've been chatting to are repeating the same crap about how they'd love to see Liverpool win it as they're like the underdogs, and because of Stevie Captain Marvellous and Hillsborough.

I even had one stating all wide-eyed and innocent that I must be pleased for them too, being as my team's from the same city.

I say wide-eyed, but what I really saw was that glazed-over look you sometimes see when Jesus-botherers evangelise.

I've seen:

The fair play team
Football played in an exhilarating way
A club fighting back against the rich teams
The football fan's favourite second team

George Orwell, Aldous Huxley and HG Wells couldn't create such a fantasy world.
 
Rodgers who everyone was pissing themselves about when his David Brent management style was exposed on 'Being Liverpool' and who's tiki taka football was absolute dross for the majority of last season, is now being lauded as the new Shanks - a tactical genius, who's the architect of the return to the 70's ffs.

It's beyond belief

Why though? I don't know any fan of any other club who does the same. It's like when they come on here and try and tell us how good their players are. I have the delight of watching a 60 grand right back playing every week but I have never, ever tried to convert anyone into my way of thinking that the lads the dogs bollocks. I couldn't care less what a fan of another team thinks of him because I'm the one who watches him every week. They don't seem to be happy unless they're trying to convert people.

I read this bollocks from McNulty yesterday

In the summer of 2012, he attempted to sell Jordan Henderson to Fulham having decided he might not develop into a top-class midfielder. Martin Skrtel and full-back Jon Flanagan were told they could look for other clubs. There was even a reluctance to sign Daniel Sturridge - who has 20 league goals this season - when he was offered to Rodgers 18 months ago. Now, he has created an environment where, if players impress him enough, he is willing to change his mind.
