ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Since taking over Palace, Pulis has a 46% win ratio with a team that cost practically nothing to put together and had managed 2 wins in their previous 12 games. He's taken 40 points from 27 games, extrapolated over the whole season Palace would be sitting on 56 points, 8th in the league.

Rodgers has spent £100m (£60m net) on players in two seasons, and inherited a squad with one of the best strikers in the league in Luis Suarez. He will likely end up finishing 2nd.

I fail to see how Rodgers' achievement is so much better than Pulis'. In fact if you put Luis Suarez in Palace's side for the entire season under Pulis they'd probably be close to the top four themselves with that kind of form.
Nice post Brennan

I hope the lurking kopites don't see this though. They're banking on Brent to secure the Manager of the Year cup, which will be their second trophy of the season.

Just realised that Firminho is not in the Brazil squad. Imagine having a season like he's had and not making it. Bloody hell!

If Pulis had started the season at Palace and they'd carried that form throughout the season and finished 8th, Pulis would definitely get it, in my opinion.

The way they talk you'd think they had the spending power of Stoke. They are one of the biggest spending clubs in the league, if anything they have vastly under achieved for the last two decades. Whatever the outcome they have an excuse to fall back on.

Referees
The FA conspiring against them
Other clubs spending more than them

And are they really moaning about the 'offensive' song aimed at Gerrard? It's basic football terrace stuff, of course he's gonna be mocked. The funny thing is that RAWK is filled with more vitriol than any other forum. It's a horrible place.

Haha that's already winding them up, can't wait until the end of next season when it's been sung by every set of fans.

Speaking of which, it really demonstrates what an objectionable set of supporters they are that hardly anyone wants them to trump City ( Surprisingly I know a few united fans who are already bitter towards city who were supporting Villa today).

But anyway, they're not the poverty stricken club they'd have you believe but certainly poorer than City, 24 years since they last won, British manager, sizeable English contingent, Hillsborough thing...yet everyone is revelling in their collapse.

Horrible barstewards.
