Meanwhile on RAWK

On Diego Costa: " Just another washed up striker to sign for Chelsea, adding the growing list of washed up strikers they have "

This was on the day they signed Rickie Lambert, a 32 year old lump, who has spent 80% of his career in the lower leagues with the likes of Rochdale, Stockport and Bristol Rovers.

Nothing quite like the response to Chelsea on them grabbing Diego Costa, your title rivals heading into the new season, than signing a league one lump. That sends a message of intent.

ah the same diego costa they were bigging up as it seemed he would be joining them last year to replace suarez. he's improved vastly again season gone by proving he's not a one-season wonder yet now he's "washed up". wonder what that makes aspas.

anyone see gerrard crying to the press saying capello never trusted him as a leader. he's such a coward, be a man for once and actually say it at the time, not years later when noone cares.

he's not exactly proved him wrong though, last time out in the WC, he led england to a terrible group campaign with just two goals in a very easy group, scraping through by the skin of their teeth including a 0-0 draw with algeria on the way. then got stuffed in the knockout game and he won't even lead them out of the group for this one.

I've had a few so i'm gonna be brave and say, there is a lot of hatred and dare i say bitterness in this thread, concentrate on Everton instead of trying to diss the reds because at the end of the day most of them wont read thjis thraed so all you are doping is giving ammuniyion to say we are bitter

i aint doping nothing big cheese.

there's a difference between bitter and hatred. you really care what their fans think of us? they have the most vile bitter human beings as followers, i couldn't give a toss what they say, they don't understand the meaning of bitter and those that claim we are are mainly the hypocrits who chant munich just because man united are better than them

Peace to all men mate.

Amazing what alcohol can do to you, I've seen the old "I love you mate" thousands of times with bevvied lids, but being that battered that it extends to kopites is a first. You must have been absolutely mashed

It's me me me all the way home.....

I get the feeling, and under advice from his agents, he's using the England exposure this summer to try and bury the ignominy of THE SLIP. He must be desperate to get away from that because he knows it's going to define a large part of his legacy.

I don't think any of the England player's liked Capello to be honest

They probably disliked him as much as they liked Sven. Sven was very popular with a lot of that squad. Well, the star players anyway
