I don't think they can deal with the idea of him leaving, the place will implode if an actual offer comes in. would be worth an entrance fee too watch the place squirm about it.
 
What a great summer this is going to be. The sooner Uruguay get knocked out of the world cup the better, as this will escalate the growing rumours and speculation.

Dont worry. When they throng the hysterical demo against selling him on Anfield Road ...with the cardinals in attendance etc, their vanity will take over and it will be filmed. No doubt Granada will show highlights and the Echo will do a pre-supplement. Then as news filters down that he already left three days before, the ritual burning of ye olde Hitachi/Crown Paints Anfielde shirts will take place. And we shall laugh.

Title rivals Chelsea have made their intentions clear for the new season. In comes Fabregas and eventually Diego Costa.

Liverpool reply with the signing of 32 year old Rickie Lambert and are on the verge of selling their star player.

Still, at least they have made their ' signing of the summer ' already. Tying down Brent to another 4 years. Wonderful

I don't understand the point here.

Rooney was vilified in the meejah after the Italy match. He became Public Enemy No. 1.

John Terry would have been out there but for the meejah campaign to have him banned from England after his spat with Anton Ferdinand. They never even waited for the verdict.

The press hounded him so much he just walked away from England.

Joe Hart has had to re-invent himself after the press made him into a laughing stock following a few bad performances in the early part of last season

There is no "immunity" for the "Sky 6" (whatever that is) when it comes to England.

What there is is a very definite media bias in favour of Liverpool and that is very evident in the lack of flack coming the way of Gerard, Johnson and the woeful Henderson.

Ha Ha. They love right now the Lambo rags to riches / beetroot factory to PL story - when the yanks let Suarez go they'll be calling them for everything and abusing Lambo for being a dog of a replacement.

The difference is that their so called 'class' is never in question. Rooney is queationed for his attitude, Terry for his off field activities the same with Ashley Cole. Even with Hart when he was poor there was no question he'd be Englands number 1. You never see the press coming out after tournament failures and put the blame on doneone like Terry or Gerrard. They just maintain this illusion of being world class for Enhland without doing anything to prove it.
 
The Rat caused murder last summer begging for a move and it was only arsenal after him, Imagine the storm he will cause if they try and block a move to Barca/Madrid
