despite being linked to teams of this calibre for about 2 years, i've still yet to see a team better than arsenal actually say they want him.

You know what, I would say that to all but Catalan professional footballers, Real Madrid is Utopia.

It really is the pinnacle of the football totem.

And people talking about Manchester United being the "biggest" or most "glamorous" club in the world are merely United fans because no one else thinks it.

And all pro players dream of going to the Bernabeu....except the Catalans :)

That was then....this is now.

And much as it pains me to say it, he has become one of the hottest properties in world football given his exploits last season.

There will no shortage of suitors this time round.
 
If Suarez leaves in the summer they at least have evidence to paint him as the bad guy. "Oh he bit Ivanovic and racially abused Evra, he didn't reflect well on our great club." It'll be funny to us because most people know that Liverpool SUPPORTED him through the suspension blather and that the fans loved him for the goal scoring. It'll make Gerrard leaving look tame by comparison.

.....the propaganda has already started, his Dad saying he has nothing left to prove in the Premier and the player himself saying the English media don't appreciate him. The excuses for going are being lined up. Nobody will be surprised if the inevitable happens, although he's probably trying to be a bit cleverer than last summer.

out of common respect he should at least stay with us for the C.L. considering all the support [Lfc n' Fans] have given him n' his family. ….we have treated him like our own. Luis I hope all these reports are just supposition n' that indeed you will lead the Red Army 'once more' into Europe.
