ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Suarez has a problem and FIFA and the FA have a duty of care to other professionals. Regardless of whether it was a bite, or anything, he has shown by repeating this same action that it is a completely random and spontaneuos reaction to the big occasion. I believe that this is a mental health issue, and should be treated as such. He has been through one treatment before by a highly respected memeber of the pyschiatric communiity, yet has proved himself wholly unable to prevent such actions. You would not hold a GA meeting in a bookmakers, or an AA meeting in the pub, the normal standard of treatment is to remove the trigger, which for Suarez seems to be pressure situations, and more specifically, football. He should be removed from the game, if not just for the safety of others it is for the sanity of himself and his family.

The issue I see here is that with his apparent complete lack of self control, he nor anybody can predict what his next lapse will be. Could it for example, be to bite the nose/ear/finger off an opponent? I certainly can't guarantee it, and more to the point, neither can he.

If ever there was a case for Sine Die, it is here.

Shorter, 3matches for Uruguay tops.

You do realise he's just bitten someone. For the 3rd time.

You think one match per bite is sufficient? Lol.

He should never play international football again and be banned from ALL football for a year. Cantona got nearly a year for fighting racism ffs.

What makes me laugh over at RAWK is that nearly every member is pissed off that so many sources are covering this latest Suarez-biting story.

Why the hell shouldn't they? And why do RAWK get annoyed by the English media being interested in the story? Their player PLAYS IN ENGLAND.

Deluded bunch of ignorant buffoons.

Okay, I'll be bad cop then.....
Free speech on a privately-owned forum run by moderators selected to volunteer their time for free? Behave.
Just because it happens, it doesn't mean it has to be debated ad nauseum instantly.
Sober reflection. Wait for some facts. The key word in your last post was ".....if....." so here's another one.
If anyone registered on this website is absolutely desperate to discuss controversy and speculate on what might or might not have happened or yet happen, the interwebs is full of places to do it.
This is RAWK. We do things our way. We even have a special WC Forum for it. The alleged incident did not take place during an LFC game. Thanks for understanding.

Biggest ban FIFA have given is the 8 they gave Mario Tassotti for breaking Luis Enrique's nose with his elbow, shouldn't be more than that.

Biting is really really weird. Shouldn't be a year long ban though.

Suarez loves making people fume. Absolutely lives for it.

All the press etc ganging up on him would mean one thing only: goal after goal after goal after goal.

We'd better hope he leaves/gets a huge ban.

This. That comes above winning trophies for him, I reckon
