Lawyer from the Court of Aboration for sport saying he'd be extremely surprised if it isn't a lengthy ban

British rep on FIFA Council has said this too.

He wont be seen this WC again. Comical. I hope Uruaguay go on to win it without him. That'd be brilliant.

Suarez has a problem and FIFA and the FA have a duty of care to other professionals. Regardless of whether it was a bite, or anything, he has shown by repeating this same action that it is a completely random and spontaneuos reaction to the big occasion. I believe that this is a mental health issue, and should be treated as such. He has been through one treatment before by a highly respected memeber of the pyschiatric communiity, yet has proved himself wholly unable to prevent such actions. You would not hold a GA meeting in a bookmakers, or an AA meeting in the pub, the normal standard of treatment is to remove the trigger, which for Suarez seems to be pressure situations, and more specifically, football. He should be removed from the game, if not just for the safety of others it is for the sanity of himself and his family.

The issue I see here is that with his apparent complete lack of self control, he nor anybody can predict what his next lapse will be. Could it for example, be to bite the nose/ear/finger off an opponent? I certainly can't guarantee it, and more to the point, neither can he.

If ever there was a case for Sine Die, it is here.

BUT EEZ DED GUD AND SCOREZ LOADSA GOALZ SO DEY CARNT BAN IM LOL BITTER BLOOSHYTE BITTER COZ E DUZZNT PLAY FOR YOU LOL YAWN TJF96 DIZ DUZZNT SLIP

The photo they created is being posted every where.

He's going to get away with it.

They've started a new justice for suarez media campaign

When I first saw the photo of the puncture/teeth marks on Chellini's- spell - shoulder I thought it was photoshopped.

I've just seen the footage on one of our mainstream TV channels which zoomed in on his shoulder as he pulled back his shirt and you can clearly see them.

He's a great footballer, but he's a horrible man.

This is making front page news across the world, the last thing Fifa and their corporate partners need is their flagship event being overshadowed by the ridiculous actions of one man.

They will go in hard on this and I fully expect the punishment to be unprecedented

Duncan got sent to jail for this...A first offence

This is Rats 3rd time biting someone, I think Rats is worse.

This is something that people are forgetting. Ferguson served time because the victim of his actions pressed charges for common assault. Would be interesting if Chiellini did the same.

The victom refused to press charges it was the scottish fa.

After England's abject performance against Uruguay the RS dominated media were urging England to 'get more nasty'. They said, 'Suarez' gives his all and praised his 'do anything to win'. Seems like that has come back to bite them on the backside or in Chiellini's case the shoulder.

The RS are all over the place trying to defend the indefensible. Yet again, blaming all and sundry for Suarez's actions. Can't see Real or Barca wanting him now after this, and it puts the Yanks on the spot as the World Cup is getting big coverage in the US. Let's see if the RS dominated media criticise the 'out of touch, looking after their own interests' FIFA if they don't hand out a lengthy ban. Suarez should be banned for a season from all football, he is an actual danger to other players and acts like a spoilt child who doesn't get their own way.

He did not press charges, the Scottish Police pushed it.
