ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

He's going to get away with it isn't he.........
Just say he does actually get away with it and only gets suspended for the rest of the world cup, he won't be getting away with it in the long run. Absolutely no way will officials turn a blind eye to his theatrics now. You can only piss in the wind for so long before you've had enough. Everyone has had enough of this turd now, he has started to stink the place out. If banning him for games, fining him for his stupidity isn't teaching this feller, then the only other way you can try and teach him is to actually start flashing yellow/red cards in games.

Duncan Ferguson became a marked man by officials. The whistle was blown before he even jumped for a ball. He won't get away with it in the long run.

Not sure if posted but this made me chuckle..

"I didn't see him bite anyone and, in football, I was taught that you obey what the referee says," Mujica said.
"If we're going to take decisions in football based on what TV says, then there are loads of penalties and handballs you'd have to give that weren't given, so bad luck."
Mujica said the striker should be judged solely on his football ability and questioned why he should be held up as a behavioural role model.
"We didn't choose him to be a philosopher, or a mechanic, or to have good manners," he said. "He's a great player."

This RAWK apologist sounding quote is from one Mr Mujica... the President of Uruguay lol.

Am I really reading from the countries most senior person that:

Suarez is not a mechanic so its okay if he bites people?
Other people have done handballs so its acceptable if he bites people?
If the ref doesn't see it, its acceptable if he bites people?

Without wanting to sound racist, it does appear that everyone from Uruguay is thick as pig sh!t

An idiot RS apologist for Suarez ("its just the same as an elbow in the face etc ") on the radio phone in earlier said that many people in Liverpool had Uruguay flags up in their bedrooms. Its official now....they have carte blanche to spout any old bollocks they like and believe its true. An al cynic like me might say they always have had. I don't know about saying Suarez should have treatment....they should just get a crop sprayer to go over Anfield during the first home game and disinfect the lot of them.

Are RAWK allowed to talk about this?? Or is it under censor as well

A couple of RAWK responses to that same video;

Although it looks bad I think Sakho was just trying to free his arms from grappling, and because the forward was leaning in he got caught in the face. It happens, it doesn't necessarily mean Sakho threw his elbow at the guy

I prefer my defenders to be of the nasty c*** variety. I saw it live and can't say I minded it too much after they showed that he was literally wrapped up in the arms of the opponent about a second earlier.

I imagine their thinking will be along these lines:

Its not Suarez, he doesn't score loads, one more of those and he's out.
He's a liability, dragging down the club, we don't need that sort of behaviour. Its a club built on class and dignity, don't need the clubs good name being dragged through the mud with instances like these....

Hang on, he's looked quite good in pre-season you say? Well lets not be too hasty then..... After all, he doesn't actually look likes he catches him if you look at this image from space rotated at 37.25 degrees.

They are mental.

At least when Fellaini used to do it for us we admitted he was a plank and deserved a ban.

Some of the RS response to the LFC way, 'if you can't beat 'em, eat 'em' has been extremely comical. I find the 'it's only a bite, not as bad as a leg break tackle or an elbow or trying to injure a player'. They seem to conveniently forget that Suarez has,

raked the ankle of Mirallas
raked the achilles heel of Distin - same game
over the top tackle on Jones (Wigan)
raked the achilles heel of 'Chico Flores'
over the top on Kompany
arm in the face of Parker as he runs past
trips Dawson as he runs past - same match
kicked Parker in the stomach
pulled Rafael's hair
studded Ivanovic's ankle
forearm smash on Ivanovic - same game
eye gouge on Parker
stamp on a Zenith St. Petersberg player
bites Ivanovic
And we won't mention Evra.
And astoundingly has never been sent off.
No other player courts so much publicity because no other player has a crime sheet as long as Suarez. In Holland he got sent off for a two footed career threatening lunge at a Dutch player.
Without the strongest stance, from FIFA and the FA, a minimum 1 year ban, he will be exonerated, by the LFC dominated media and we will be told he 'is a reformed character'. He will go on to bite or injure another player. More likely to be bit by Suarez than by a shark, says it all really.

Oh Lord,

"However, you go watch some street football in the favelas of latin america and you will see this and much much worse. It is a weird combination of animalistic instinct and playground football as I knew growing up in the UK. All sorts of weird hair pulling, eye poking, biting, rabbit punching, spitting etc"

How could he write that absolute crock of [Poor language removed], without a hint of shame for what is a blatant and complete lie?

I have this awful feeling I know the author of that crock.

A Kopite friend whom moved to Brazil so few years ago and started a family.

They really do, that second one mostly for me:

"If we're going to take decisions in football based on what TV says, then there are loads of penalties and handballs you'd have to give that weren't given, so bad luck."

How childish is that bad luck comment, but from a president - to a global press its mind blowing.
