i am about 90% sure, that like the rest of us, they'd never heard of this guy before the WC and are buying him based on a couple of pretty promising games. it's salif dio all over again!

for a striker, i'm not so sure this guy can finish, should be an attacking mid.

there's no way they could have even gone back and got videos of all his performances to properly analyse him after his 2nd/3rd WC game, smacks of terrible planning.

Henry will be watching an U20's football tournament next year and say, 'Heh, that Belgian Origi looks good and so does that Llori. Get Rodgers on the phone and ask him why don't we buy those 2 players'. On being told by Rodgers that 'we have them on the books, but it was the Shankly way to put them in the reserves for a year, so they could be imbued with the LFC way. But I've decide that to get them to be better players they would be better staying where they were'. Phone goes dead and Henry is heard saying, 'what a grade A blonker that Rodgers really is'.

I rate both Can and Markovic, so they might have 2 stars there. Not quite sure that Markovic is worth £25 million at this juncture, but he's certainly an exciting prospect and we all know how ridiculously inflated transfer fees are nowadays.

Looking at who they have bought in, am I wrong in thinking that not one of the clubs that the RS seem to think they are comparable with, in any league, have not been remotely interested in competing for them? Or even been mentioned as after them?
