ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Liverpool were a better side then. Gerrard was excellent at number ten with Torres ahead of him. Suarez has scored in 5(?) derbies already and has never lost one, scoring at Wembley. I don't think he's failed to score at Goodison yet(?).

Suarez carried a bang average Liverpool side to second place almost single-handedly. When Liverpool finished second in 09, they were a much better side all round, for me.

Torres was superb at his best, but Suarez is completely ridiculous.

i think liverpool ran torres into the ground and ruined him, they may well have done the same with suarez (based on his injury this summer) time will tell.

The benitez side that finished second was far better than the current rabble. A true testament to Brendan's delusions is that he clearly thinks otherwise

Great thread in the making over on RAWK - 'We Go Again, Again'.

Pick of the bunch so far...

"Do teams fear Steven Gerrard? You're damned right they do. He's got testicles the size of Jupiter's moons.
Do teams fear Raheem Sterling? If they don't, they are going to get torched.
Do teams fear wee Coutinho? They will, by God, they surely will.
Do teams hear the sound of cossack hooves at the impending approach of Le Czar, and quail? They should.
We go again. Fear ye any who stand in our way. The Reds are coming up that hill with fire in our eyes.
Behold, plastic villains, mancs and bitters, petrol gangsters and prawn-eating dandies, and despair.
We go again. Stand in our way and you will be trampled.
We go again."

Oh my. Simply the most pathetic thing ever committed to cyberspace. Can see someone has been on the Neil Atkinson "How to Write Nonsense" course.

Kin hell I've just puked in my mouth. Looks like hoofball again this season lads with no Plan B but plenty of slip ups.

From RAWK

So farewell Luis , I guess we all knew this day would come , but even so it still saddens,...like a doomed passionate relationship, we knew it wouldn't last...you are a wholly unique footballer , there has never been any one like you at Liverpool ( however I am not saying you are a Liddell of Kenny, oh! no, not that level of Liverpool Legend) but you are a genius and brought so much joy to us, and tested us too...we will miss the exhilaration of watching you play , we knew you were the worlds best....but it all came at a price , that tested our loyalty ,our love...
So farewell...you have you wish, but if we stayed together....but...no...not to be..so unlike 'others' lets no look back in anger and bitterness....lets remember just the good times and wish the best for each other....remember me as a good thing...cue the music..

Priceless!!

That's a brilliant advertising hoarding to the insanity reaching epidemic proportions amongst the RS everywhere. Doesn't it say much more about the author (or the one who has lifted clichés from music and associated mawkish sources) and his like rather than Suarez. The hilarious part is that he wont give them a second thought living in another country, playing in a world class team...lets face it, he didn't give them a second thought in this country when he bit his fellow pro, racially insulted his fellow pro and insulted paying fans. The fact that they condoned these issues, and now the latest as collateral damage to his "flawed genius" shows they are as cracked as he is.

Behold, plastic villains, mancs and bitters, petrol gangsters and prawn-eating dandies, and despair.

seems somewhat apt to post how the poem that inspired the author of that line in the RAWK piece ends:

Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."

i remember everton fans burning fellaini's shirt for leaving for a better team - not all footy fans are pathetic - those seem to take the biscuit. i expect players like rooney (a boyhood fan) to stay because they should be living the dream, but i understand if they go to a better team, i don't expect anything from foreign players with no affiliation to everton. it's a job at the end of the day, of course i want them to be loyal, but i'd never expect it.

Really? I seem to remember copious amounts of celebration that we got so much for him. Not saying it didn't happen BTW.

Think there was one, but it was on one of them jarg footy news sites. always a bit suspicious about shirt burning to be honest, could be anyone doing it to get a story

When Septic Bladder talked about football on another planet he must have been thinking of the place Kopites come from as most of them are not on this one.

I think most were happy with the fee we got for Fellaini, i think loads were even appreciative of him putting in the transfer request which saved us quite a few bob.

Yip.

He came to the club, he played well for us in the main and then he left for a thumping good profit for us.

He handled himself well during the protracted transfer saga and he hasn't bad mouthed us since.

I haven't heard anyone slag him off nor have I heard of any shirt burning.

He will always get a good reception from me when he returns to Goodison to play against us.

And I suspect from a good few others as well.

Yep, he resigned instead of running the contract down so we got a fee, and the fee we eventually got was ludicrously good. Good lad Felli, especially now he's got rid of that bellend haircut.

umm, wait guys, i was being sarcastic ha. i was stating how us selling fellaini was similar to them selling torres, but like you all state, we didn't start burning shirts and hated him, we were realistic. kopites are delusional idioits, hence "take the biscuit"
