I well aware that I'm probably wrong and I don't think my arguments will hold up well under scrutiny but for some reason I just can't seem to rate sturridge all that much. And I don't know what it is like, I just watched all his goals from last season and they're all perfectly fine goals but I don't know he does seem to get the rub of the green alot. Something about his technique does not sit right with me either, I thought about this cause I think he's hot fudge for England doesn't seem threatening at all, think Andy Cole when he used to play for England.

It's probably me being irrational and my opinion warped by his celebration which is made to look even worse cause you can tell he actually thinks he looks good! It's not tongue in cheek like Crouchs Robot for instance he's actually consciously doing it because he believes he doesn't look like a bell end. But yeah I think he will be massively found out this season. Am I making any sense to anyone or is this part of my very dark, VERY messed up perspective on the world x

agree its strange for mourinho to let him go ..especially with choosing eto..But then again he doesnt seem to rate lukaku either does he..

Got a feeling though sturridge will love it now without suares being the main man...
Could be wrong but at least hes english and i think he has 5 yrs on suares as does lukaku ..even more.

i've seen two adverts with him in watching someone else do that dance, it's utterly moronic, wonder how much of a bell he'll look like showing his youtube vids to his kids with it followed by that all the time

When they do catch hold of this story he will have more or less signed and be the best player in the world, only to reject them and become bang average all in the space of just couple of days.
