Sky not even trying to hide their love of the RS.

Note that this is the football section. Not the Gerrard section or even the liverpool section. Just the whole of football. Makes me sick.

"Last of a dying breed" apparently. As if there's not a self-aggrandizing, Jordan Henderson shaped whopper ready to jump in to the void and ensure that badges and cameras don't go unkissed.

If you look at the legalistic system in society there an I inherent favouring of the wealthy and powerful, few would dispute that. I am not sure why football would be any different.

I don't think it is an "everyone hates us" thing or paranoia just an acknowledgement of how society works.

We haven't had a penalty at Anfield in 50 years. I can think of about 6 they have had in my lifetime at Goodison (and that is not as long as 50 years before you start!)

Agree with this post other than the fact that we did get one at the Temple of Doom in 1989 (Wayne Clarke).

Crikey, Gerrard hasn't actually retired yet and it's all over the news. He's off at the end of the season, right?

The ironic thing is most Liverpool supporters are quietly breathing a sigh of relief now as he's clearly past it and shouldn't be starting Prem League matches anymore.

They won't admit it though!

Has Brendan waffle Rodgers laid a wreath yet outside Anfield???????????

Why would they...nowt new - they very rarely deal in fact and reality. Theyre ecstatic celebrating the fact that regardless of him gibbing them, they've got five months of mawkish, maudlin, vomit-inducing farewell tributes to look forward to.... sweat shop factories to be on overtime producing miles of cheap material for their "ow d'ya spell that...oh s*it, ok throw it away then an do it again" banners...and the knowledge that for all the headlines, programmes and every journeyman ouldarse player on twitter commenting on him, they've got it all to look forward to.... then do it all again at the end of May.

Summed up well mate.

Joke of a club. They are a parody of themselves these days.
