Gawd, I wish I knew how you and like Tommye do these GIFs

Sturridge is currently a far superior player to Lukaku.

To be sure. This thread needs to go back to not focusing on Liverpool's good players. No amount of mental gymnastics will help us avoid the fact that Sterling, Sturridge and Coutinho are pretty good at kicking footballs. Let's keep the spotlight on their fraud manager, the club "legend" that is being turfed out but is trying to convince people it's a personal choice, their absolute pipe defenders, their ludicrous outlay for bang average players, the entire media juggernaut willing them to FA Cup victory, the fact that they're not going to win the FA Cup, their general hysterics, self righteousness, full kits, secretary banging, tranny hammering, gross bodily harm, T-shirts of racists, Weetabix legs, Sterling going somewhere else and so on. I'm talking proper root and branch overhauls, restore this thread to its former glory.

Yes. Didn't the same thing happen against Chelsea in a European match too? Gerrard no doubt seizing the chance to get the problem out the door. I remember in that cup match two season's ago (I think against Oldham) at a time Gerrard was being asked to play second fiddle to Allen in midfield and work a short passing game, Liverpool fell behind and the camera's cut to the bench where Gerrard and Carragher were shaking their heads and giving daggers to Rodgers standing on the line in front of them.

He learned his tricks at the foot of King Snide himself: Dalglish. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised at how manipulative he's been.

luckily they don't seem to have anyone to take on that matle. henderson is a moany old git, but he hasn't really got the stature to manipulate refs. won't step their whole squad diving and refs giving them terrible penalties like.

To be fair Rom is 21, Sturridge is 25.

Additionaly Rom has been ace anywhere hes been. Sturridge flopped basicaly every where before he signed for them.

Lukaku has also scored more career goals then Sturridge despite the age difference.

Sturridge can score goals and play good togga, he's definitely one the best strikers England has produced since the late 90s.

That's not saying much like.

LOL

GET OUT

He made use of some awful kick and run tactics and hit a purple patch, he wont score more than 10 goals a season in his career ever again.

He was good for Bolton before he joined them lot too, and was wasted at Chelsea.

It's a moot point anyway, as far as England strikers go in the last 15 years its Rooney, Crouch, Defoe and Sturridge, frighteningly bad.

Rooney, Owen, Fowler, Shearer, Cole.

Sturridge has played in a grand total of 9 Premiership seasons, granted hes spent a lot of time either on the bench getting minutes here and there and sitting at home injured, but he has only ever scored more than 10 goals in 2 of those seasons, 3 out of 10 if you include cup games and Europe.

Hes honestly not very good.

Okay a little bit more recently then, those guys (apart from Rooney) were on a downward spiral and we've had the likes of Beattie, Darius Vassel and Crouch (who scored for fun for England).

He's better than anyone on here would dare give him credit for.
