Those tools over there at RAWK on the Sterling contract goings on....

"When players don't embrace Liverpool and then stick their head above a predominantly socialist society, demanding we reward them, before they have really earned their status, they are heading down a lonely Road."

lol

LFC socialism. I am aghast.

He is the best young player in Europe, so pay him the best young player in europe wages you Shark faced tosser.

You know what i find funny, it was almost as if brenda hyped up sterling just to rub it in the face of Barkley, as the media went crazy for Ross. As Jagielka/Lescott partnership threatened to be a world class pairing, all of a sudden Carragher was the missing piece in the jigsaw for England, nobody batted an eyelid previous. Same with Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes debate. LFC have to remain in the media to feel relevant - putting little old scruffy dogs Everton down whilst their at it is a bonus.

YNWA.

There's always some pantomime at Liverpool. The Hicks and Gillett saga was the ultimate one, and that 'Get out of my Club' video they did will live long in the memory.

"We're still an important club.....look at us....look at us....look at us!!!

Funny, reporters were a lot less dismiisive of Sterling's value to Liverpool earlier on in the season and in the run up to the World Cup
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-week-is-obscene-but-at-least-hes-honest.html

Liverpool have little to fear from the Sterling situation, other than the small detail of losing the player, which they’ll easily get over if it comes to that. They’ve lost better in the last 12 months, never mind in their history, and every wage bill has its ceiling.

The Anfield board knows there will be a popular movement in their favour as the figure Sterling rejected (an obscene £100,000 a week) and is demanding (an even more obscene £150,000 a week) is dissected in public. If Sterling is sold for £40 million this summer, it is more likely to provoke a bit of disappointment and ‘ho-hum’ than a fans protest. There was a noticeably impatient murmur whenever Sterling lost possession against Manchester United on Sunday. Presumably he knows why.

If Sterling is sold for £40million the universe will implode.

The RS don't seem to have any capable strategy for dealing with Sterling. Rodgers scattergun approach to him goes back to that spat they had on the hilarious tv fly on the wall "Being Gob****es". Apart from the contract issue, the England situation is a farce. Hes supposed to have carried the toe injury since the derby yet they arse around arranging for him to join up then come back early. If hes injured he should be out....so un-RS like to let him join up with the squad when in the past they have sought spurious sickies to be thrown to cop out of the England games. Always a circus attached to them.

Came on here for a quick break and a laugh, certainly got it!

Stirling is going to quickly incur the wrath of the Liverpool fans, they are already starting to turn. His best position is a winger in a front 3 which old dopey has decided to jettison.

The idea that Madrid are going to pay 40 million for Stirling is laughable. I could see them taking Stirling, as a cheap caste off to fill their bench if a decent offer became available to them, in a similar way they have done with Hernandez. But there's no way he would be their marquee signing.

I suspect they will look to take him on a free at the end of his contract, or alternatively offer then say 8 million pounds when he has a year left. That way they have nothing to lose and will probably make a tidy profit on him.

Harry redknapp now sticking his nose in, says sterling is lucky to be playing for Liverpool and should sign the contract. Lol

He's right

They're a big club who'll always have a place for him in the starting lineup

He'll continue to develop if he stays there, and he'll be making 100K a week FFS

That's enough to buy bikes for all 17 of his illegitimate children

I love the first one...

The headline says it all:

Brendan Rodgers says Raheem Sterling is 'the best young player in European football' after Liverpool beat Norwich

Followed by:

He's just shifted it, got his shot off; to beat a goalkeeper of John Ruddy's quality shows you the quality of the strike.

Makes Martinez seem quite grounded on our players quality lol

So let's recap.

The rs fox up royally against manure as they should have done against Swansea bar dodgy finishing from the Jacks and the spawniest goal ever from Dumbo.
Slippy nearly breaks someone's legs whilst Nosferatu attempts to snap De Gea's leg off at the shin. Gnashers overplays a kid so much that even with a Jamaica jolly and a two week non playing international break,he'll still have played 50 games by next premier league fixtures.

Yet in the media no character assassinations of gnashers destroying a young player's career with overuse. But I have read 2 this week about Sanchez being overplayed. The most overused midfielder and forward in the league, Dumbo and Sterling.

Their friends in the mirror, David Maddock you know who you are already implying Skrtel couldn't help but almost break his leg. Nosferatu is not that type of boy,the blood dripping from his fangs is accidental.

Sturridge's mystery injury will disappear after a 2 week holiday in time to face us,their will be no mention in the media of how out of order that is to miss England games as it suits you.
Slippy doesn't apologise to the player yet no mention of how out of order that is,just some Henry Winter crap about Slippy's legacy. You couldn't make it up.

Garth Crooks style rant over. Hope we crush their hopes in 10 days.
