I find it hard to believe they appealed it. I can't see any ground on which to do it.

Three Ex-Refs sit down watch it, see him deliberately stamp on De Gea so they charge him.

Shouldn't he get an extra game for a frivolous appeal?

Wonder if there is any truth in the rumour that to show what a nice guy Skrtel is, the RS compiled video footage of every set piece he has ever defended, showing him take time out from the game to hug his opponents.

You'd think wouldn't you. I suppose it depends on their definition of frivolous.

It might not be frivolous to say it was an accident, but it might be frivolous to say it if the appeal could only be heard after the next round of games.
I suppose the appeal wasn't an attempt to get him to circumvent the system, just argue his lost case.
