ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

.......Facebook Reds starting to post their rants. One is pointing out 'what do you expect when you undersell the worlds greatest striker and replace him with dross'. I had to remind him that in August he posted a picture of their new signings declaring what a fantastic window it had been. They really are unique.

And who's fault was that? Chelsea's?

From RAWK, iirc Phase of Play is one of their more influential posters but even he seems to be losing faith in Rodgers.

There's no answer to that. Set up wrong from the start. Then changed to make it worse.

There are few bigger defenders of Rodgers on here than me, but that's all on him. And quite frankly, it's indefensible at this stage. It's not about big teams, because he's beaten big teams. It's about big games. When there's something on the line, he gives up the game before it starts. 3 years in, and it hasn't really changed. It's very sad, painful and frustrating to see.

The clock, I think, is now ticking.

The penny drops. Davek has been saying that exact thing for a year now.

Can't find the post now to quote but love all the talk of 'we've only got the 5th highest wage bill, what do you expect.....'. They can't argue anymore that they haven't spent as much on transfers as everyone else so now they move onto the wage bill as the excuse. "How do they expect us to live with the likes of Ludgorets lads who's record signing is 90 grand...just can't be done Aldo mate...."

Landlord of a dilapidated house in a run down area making money off the poor.

Sounds about right.

What a charmer.

And Rodgers will say....."You see these are the problems you face when youre the coach parked in front of these houses...the rent-book stops here. These houses are only young...bits of kids really...and they need recovery days when they can grow tiles on the roof...mortar between the bricks....and I can apply the plaster. To stick over all the problems. Its my blueprint....just like I told them at Manchester City- have I mentioned they interviewed me for the assistant coach some years ago ? "....zzzzzzzzz

LFC get approval for their 15 foot high security screen to keep 'prying eyes' out.

The transition to a Waco style cult continues apace.

I expect a last stand being made here in the summer by Branch Brendivian forces protecting their messiah from eviction by 'dem yanks'.

.....went past the gates at about 09.15 this morning, two blokes waiting for autographs one of whom virtually lives outside and is supposed to be a sandwich short of a picnic. There are usually hordes, keep up the results and they can save money on the fence.

Annoying that it only took this one game for the echo to launch a full inquest into Liverpool's woes demanding a full review of the club. Meanwhile when we were flirting with relegation they just told us to shut up and back the manager. Funny that.

I must have missed that backing mate. I think Prentice tried a lone column sometime in February saying there was lots of credit in the Martinez bank, but after that he and the likes of O'Keeffe and Doyle and (not Kirkbride to his credit) became very critical of Martinez and haven't been exactly supportive since we came out of the slump either. Basically those three just wrote what they thought Evertonians wanted to hear. I hope Martinez treats them with the contempt they deserve.
