Wouldn't mind them qualifying for Europa League to be honest, look what it did to us this season and what happened last time they qualified for it

To be fair I don't think our problems were down to Europe, we were just dreadful at the back.

I take your point though, always better to see their squad stretched than giving them a free week.
 
It was just an absolute shambles from Rogers in the transfer window. So many buys beggar belief, for me Lallana was particulary bizarre. Where was he ever going to fit in? Essentially £25m for a back up player who had no resale value.

Watching them tonight they actually looked like us going forward against a team intent on shutting us out. The only difference is we haven't spunked £120m trying to address the problem.
 

lads I've cracked it. It's nothing to do with net spend, transfers, Sturridge's injury, the downfall of the season can be traced back to one event: Stevie Me'd charity match. Before that they were on for the top 4 and the cup. After it they've barely won a game. Gerrard ruins another season! Does he have to retire?

I'm actually shocked that Origi was even rated in the first place.
 

Before the match media talked like General Rodgers' place wouldnt be in danger...they were going about next season n s***....well today will be another story, though...CL gone...FA Cup gone...they are like hobo standing on the pier, watching into the sunset with glassed eyes, hands reached towards the sea, half eaten pukka-pie in other hand and steaming pile of crap in the other.
