Rodgers on the reds***e fans when they play Stoke: "Liverpool supporters always back their own players. If he plays any part in the game, Raheem will get the support of our fans."

Maybe the beauts will invite Sterling to their end of season shirt burning BBQ!

Brent must have missed the award ceremony this week when the Redmen backed their young player of the year.

Slippy's got his own BBQ for his birthday next week now they're not in the cup final, they could do it thenlol

Whilst it's hilarious to watch all this going on, I'm desperate for Sterling to stay tbh.

He's not all that (yet). Good in patches, but yet to show anything long term, which he may well do. Even if he does, he's still surrounded with Hendo, Flano, Balo and Lucas-o, etc. He'll never be as good as Suarez or Torres were and they couldn't drag the RS to the title.

That is the preferable situation, over Brenda having £30m ish extra to spend on top of whatever "support they don't get from the board" ie another £80m probably.
Sooner or later, he'll sign someone half decent. Throw enough shoite at the wall and something's gotta stick.

I've been a bit quiet. Need to get back on it.

Its Friday, i finish work at 5pm. I might open a can of ice cold Stella Artoris and watch your work. Your like a little pole dancer working for my pleasure.

Now pick up that Pencil Sapie :whip:

What have i become ?! ........

Liverpool apparently looking to sell Lucas Leiva to Internazionale. He is a bit slow and injury prone however he is their only experienced defensive midfielder.

Can might be able to step up but tbh think they will miss him if he's not replaced well.
Just like they sold Agger. They will get £3 million for him and buy Ki sung yueng for £22m to replace him.lollol

Haven't seen this posted yet:

https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news...raheem-sterling-will-stay-084634569--sow.html

"Raheem, whether there are talks or no talks, has two years left and I expect him to see that through,” Rodgers said.

"I don't see Raheem being unhappy. In sure talks will place over the course of the summer.

"Raheem will be available for selection. My relationship with him hasn't been affected at all.

"It’s difficult to comment on what others speak about. Any meetings that take place here will be dealt with internally.

I think Rodgers expects him to change his mind like Suarez, except...

1.) Their squad was in much better shape for the year Suarez decided to stick around.
2.) Suarez was good enough to nearly win the league for them by himself, Sterling is not.
3.) Suarez seemed to be a "do anything to win" sort of player, Sterling hasn't shown he has that sort of attitude.

This is going to go down well from Gary Neville...

Raheem Sterling has been in the eye of a storm this week following the revelation that he wants to leave Liverpool, but while there is a lot to be said about the way the story has developed, the harsh reality for the club is that this situation has been 15 years in the making.

When it comes to representing young players, the onus should be on protecting and supporting them; maintain your dignity and keep out of the headlines.

But has Raheem Sterling really let Liverpool down by suggesting he wants to leave or is he just a kid who wants to play football and win trophies?

There is a wider context to this story and it centres on how Liverpool have gone from being from one Europe’s great superpowers to one which is in danger of becoming a provincial club.

The prospect of losing Sterling will be a major concern for everybody connected to the club, but the uncomfortable truth is that this is nothing new for Liverpool.

.....not certain but suspect he is a big earner from the previous regime.
