Fixed.Denial - he ain't gonna go
Anger - he effing ain't gonna go, if he does hes bleedin dead lar!
Bargaining - please don't go
Depression - he's bloody going
Acceptance - call to Southampton
Does.nt matter, Flannagan signed simply because he knows himself that hes not good enough to any other team who have consistently been in the hunt for honours. At least it covers his main recovery period though and he'll get access to what should be good rehab facilites - very hard doing that when on your own.
Tbh the rumours were that it was Flanagan that was reluctant to sign for them, even when injured, because of similar concerns that Sterling has.
Knew you'd do your time on your head, hope you bossed the landing mate? It's ace the way they have the collective need to worship self appointed icons in defiance of those who dare to leave them/go to a big club.
Suarez left but it was sound because it was all abar Sterling. Now Sterling wants to win trophies it's cool as that Ibe lad is the future.
From Suarez to Sterling to Ibe. I'll have a slice of that, they're in free fall.
Spot on article - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ndard-bearer-for-20-year-olds-everywhere.html
The bile by the RS in the comments is just wonderful.
This article completely misses the point. People aren't angry at the money. You could offer him any amount, he wouldn't take it. He's leaving to join a "bigger team" to win trophies. That is what is bugging people. He doesn't have the balls to stick it out and try and achieve something special with this Liverpool side.
Money doesn't come into it. We as fans are over the fact they earn far too much. It isn't going to change. But, a bit of loyalty, fight and passion, wouldn't go a-miss.
Sterling doesn't have any of those characteristics.
This one in particular struck me
How longs he been at the club? 3-4 years? Why are they expecting such loyalty?
This is why I think his agent is doing a good job. If the heat is all on Ward , then it's not on sterling, and Ward can agitate for a move while Sterling can continue to play the role of the naive teenager badly advised. It's pretty funny actually, if you look around some rs forums, not even just rawk, they're all at the point of wanting to find ward and fight him, as if he's not making these comments with sterling's blessing.Rodgers yet again trying the line that Sterling is some waif being led astray by a big nasty agent. Perhaps he is just trying to protect Raheem from crowd abuse but don't think Rodgers being continually patronising to him will make him keen to stay.

He’s a young man who has obviously passed on his career to other people and, unfortunately, whether people perceive it as right or wrong, he is being led by the representative. But the young boy I see on a daily basis and who I work with is still the same boy who wants to learn and I think the supporters will just continue to show what they always do, which is wonderful support for every player in the Liverpool shirt.”
