ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Still too early to say no problem, they are, at the moment, looking a shoe in but football hardly does the normal. Just like us their back up is not great and a few injuries, a drop in form from 1/2 of their key players and/or a bad Christmas period and they fall down.

I still think on paper that their are at least 4 squads better than them so for me it not 'no problem' but more if things go for them then they are in with a shout of top 4.
I say that though because right now they are short of a couple and still playing out of their skins. I expect them to get a couple in that might steady the ship defensively in January. I also think no European distractions is worth about 6 points to them. Of course, the same can be said about Chelsea too.

I hope the wheels fall off dramatically. It'd be hilarious and I'd love to be able to eat my own words on this. But Klopp is THE difference. He'll get them over the line in at least 4th spot.

So the Brain of RAWK (yeah, the one that has one) is lecturing them all about the merits - or otherwise - of the Everton manager.

1. Why would Reds actually give a flying .... about Koeman? (NB maybe some of them might just look at the league table at the moment)
2. Is there something new in there - apart from an odd spark of vitriol (which one might expect given the angle of a RS writing about us)?
3. Would we be surprised if he left for a better offer (like Everton might normally be thought to be compared to Southampton - or indeed compared to Wigan (RM) or PNE (Moyes) or in their case: Fulham (Hodgson) or Swansea (Rodgers) for example?
4. I can see that RK might easily rile the board (or the fans) - he's been a bit brutal with Niasse and not slow to criticise Barkley. But this gets results - for a while.

I read it out of curiosity and it's nearly balanced. Not a lot of nastiness about it. But like, so what?

it's not been a good week for him after moaning about the EFL being a rip off and saying teams should state that they're going to play a weakened team ... being massively shut down by all fans saying how prices were £10 max and that teams have been playing weakened teams for over a decade.

Every time someone posts something about them on here I think 'no way can it be worse than the previous one' and it always is.
They go from strength to strength in the cringe stakes.
Granted it wasn't one of them who said this rubbish on the radio but they'll lap it up.

But on the bright side, the higher you are the harder you fall. The way they play will be their downfall, tiredness will take its toll.

I did enjoy the way the commentators were saying how well Coutinho was playing on Saturday and if he can keep this level up it's only a matter of time before a big club comes in for him.

They hate things like that, the reality that they're no longer big players in the world game and outside there own little bubble, no one thinks they are.
