ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I hate to piss on your chips but Klopp's been pretty vocal about Bayern, including taking the piss out of them losing during a post match press conference for Liverpool. He'll never manage there. He likes to be challenged as a manager and that rules out a lot of the other big European clubs too. I'm sure he'd like a go at the German national team or VFB Stuttgart, who he supported as a kid, but he won't leave Liverpool until he feels he's completed what he's set out to do. Typically for him that's seven years.
Hi newbie ...sniffs

A sickening write-off of a weekend that. A disgraceful non-performance from the Blues and the inevitable rogering offered by Watford to "de Redmen".

They do indeed look unstoppable at the moment. What makes it more annoying is the seemingly drugged "effort" at Stamford Bridge. 'Kin ell Everton.

Swerving all news and social media tbh, the incessant fanatical repetition of mantras and slogans is becoming like North Korea.

One positive side-effect of Trump winning the US Election would be subsequently inevitable nuclear holocaust and the end of the world before they manage to get their rat claws on the league.

Every cloud and all that ey?
Yes, all of the above, the belief from vast swathes of the media that the UK is holding its breath waiting for that lot to win the PL Is stomach churning.

they are just not going to win it....top 4 not beyond them but that defence will let them down NEA....

They conceded 5 in the first 2 games and have only conceded 9 since that in 9 games. I don't think their defence is as bad as is being made out. It's the weakest part of their side for sure but it's still perfectly adequate given how many goals they score. Stopping them scoring so easily is the key. I'm not a football manager but I hope teams can start finding a way to do that soon. I watched their last two games and it's fair to say the margins of defeat flattered Palace and Watford. They need their confidence dented soon because they don't have many, if any, proven winners in there, unlike City and Chelsea for example. This could be their ultimate downfall

TBF us winning the league would be a bigger sign of the coming apocalypse than anything else. League Champions 1914-15 and 1938-39, don't forget.

Doesn't look good to me - their best attacking football since Barnes and Beardsley days. However they will never dominate like they did back then as it is too competitive now, so what if they win it, will be a nightmare, but if anyone had told a 20 year old Bob 27 YEARS ago it would take them this long to win it again I would have snatched their hand off , gone berserk and got about 20 million to one at the bookies. If it happens it happens pretty resigned to it early to be honest, however will celebrate like 2014 again if they balls it up. THe only consolation of them going close is their devastation when they fail.

Liverpool have never won the title since the back pass rule was introduced.
It was invented with the express purpose of combating the type of attritional anti-football they pioneered, hence I believe they are unable to win the title whilst it is still in effect.

And it will be... a comedy gold moment like slippy g is inevitable at some point

My default mode is NEA regarding the RS ....Ive coped with their different successes increasingly well for decades now and wont change now Im in hysteria-free oularse orbit. That said, if their excellent form persists, I can see them being in the top three. That's fine damage limitation for me as it will further delay their passage to the title they usually insist they deserve - their Holy Grail of the Premiership. I cant see them hacking both the demands of CL football in its present form and also the rigours of the Prem unless, by next season, FSG sanction Klopp making stellar reinforcements at the back.

Whilst they are my favourites to win the league, it must be noted that their keeper made a handful of decent saves too, Watford had chances that a better team would tuck away. Their defence is pretty much their weakest point with average midfield enforcers, but their attack is looking great.

Talksport is literally doing my head in. literally tugging themselves off over Chelsea and Liverpool. Best football ever seen in the premier league history apparently.
