The first four all have CL football to offer and Liverpool's continued reputation - as well as the wages they can pay - will ensure a much better squad for them next season.
I mean, that isn't in dispute is it?
No necessarily, buying wrong can impact a squad, such as signing a keeper like Karius and dropping a better keeper for him but obviously you'd imagine all team should improve with transfers however I do not think they will improve as much as everyone else who will spend around them such as us and the other top 4 or 5 clubs who can all out spend them IMO.
I don't think they can spend big money any more it's been drying up for some time there hence why they never spent big the last time they qualified for the champions lge, nor could they attract big name players, so there's no reason to believe that will change this time around.
Last time they had a better team, had just done a proper title tilt and should of actually won it but they finished 8th the year after I think.
It's not difficult to see that happening again as I think they are worst off now than they were then despite there admittedly good position at the moment. The warning signs are all there again this year..
