ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Some comments on the 108,000 Anfield Double in Size Ground (you know, just like every other team has always done... doubled their capacity to meet "demand")

Dear Echo
My ten year old has just transferred Messi and Neymar into his Liverpool team on FIFA 2017. I thought you could run a sensationally headlined story under your transfer section. He is available for comment at any time from 4 until 6.30pm after which he'll be having his tea and doing his homework. Alternatively, you could employ some real journalists to write real stories but I suppose that costs money.

Love, John

Is this a joke!!! My five year old daughter is drawing her own plans for an extended Anfield with crayons and some glitter, are you going to put them on the Echo website too, is this a serious newspaper or is it a comic???

That's harsh. Look at how Stoke played yesterday, and Pulis sends no team out to stroll about.

It's tough to take but we cant be churlish about it: those two back to back wins were all about character...a character that we dont come near to having. Because when the pressure's on, our lot fold like a house of cards.

Spot on im afraid, they were two games that they should win, but weren't sure on how they would handle it.
Two options for me:

1. They won as expected and nailed down a top 4 place.
2. They lost/drew, going back to realising the squad isn't good enough to win the league.

I think they now realise its a combination of both. They done brilliant to get top four, but they certaintly need a lot more investment to push on.

For what its worth regarding the Klopp vs Rodgers debate.

Rodgers was a complete fraud bit of a no-mark, I would never play for that cretin.
Jurgen Klopp is someone you love as your manager, think he is a blert against him.

Im more worried about Klopp finding little gems for £15-20m from Germany, than I was Rodgers chasing £40m dreams.

Its one reason why FSG went for Klopp, a manager who has his best players sold to rivals, with no arguments. He will tow the company line.

Why is there even a debate about Klopp vs Rodgers? Klopp is a far better manager.

Don't think its just about 1vs1. Its more about Liverpools pulling power with either man in charge. UCL football is attractive, but can Klopp attract better players than Rodgers did in LFC's last UCL campaign.

Speechless the Echo even printed that, so basically someone for fun draw up a design, which has no basis in reality an they ran it? Slow day lads, slow day

Just more proof that anything printed about the RS in the Echo is nothing other than....

de·lu·sion
dəˈlo͞oZHən/
noun
noun: delusion; plural noun: delusions
an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder.

I thought they had said they won't expand the Anney Road as not commercially viable? Stuff of dreams and delusional to suggest they could afford, fill or even want a bigger ground. In fairness, they've improved the old place since we moved out but it's time to enjoy the loft conversion they've just built before troubling real people with your missus' latest plans for the gaff after she's just read the property pull out in The Echo. Pricks. Non - story, move on.

I thought this stadium talk hadn't bothered them at all? Now they've resorted to this lol

Good point that. On another issue, one of my mates, walked up to the box office for the Spurs game and bought a ticket in the big stand for 60quid, box office less then a hour to go, but you cant get tickets for Anfield so they say?

Do Liverpool fans sell on StubHub ?

Allegedly it would be the second-largest club stadium in the world, bettered only by one in North Korea. Which, given RAWK's knee-jerk propensity to crush dissent, is quite fitting. But I would have thought they'd double the Anfield Road end so they wouldn't be able to see our new digs.
