Mourinho and guardiola wouldn't be al utd and city ir those teams only had liverpool's finances
Correct.

IIRC many of us were saying when he first signed with them that he'd made the biggest mistake of his life. He's used the force of his own personality to drag a pretty ropey squad into the CL after a decent first season.

I hope Klopp walks away in the summer if it isn't immediately indicated to him that his spending plans are on track. His stock would be high and Liverpool would never get a better manager in than him.

I think the truth is a bit more unpalatable than just them getting lucky.

The winner at Goodison this season was in the last seconds of added time, with a shot that came off the post and could have gone anywhere. It rolled directly into the path of Mane a yard out who couldn't have missed if he was 90 years old...

...after owning the ball for the whole of the second half.

We were second best against them in both derbies this season.

With these dodgy yakubu birth certificates, I wouldn't be surprised if he was just shy of 90.

That counts for nothing. Leicester won a title last season without 'owning' the ball for most of the game in their games.

%age possession this season is prove to be worth less and less. Ask Juventus last night.

Your first point proves nothing at all...

But they owned the ball AND won the game.
Despite playing ok 1st half, we didn't trouble them and they were very comfortable. If your looking for reasons we lost that game, instead of bemoaning the RS luck, it was yet another sub standard Derby from us.

Let's not pretend we were anything other than woeful in both Derby games. They are still moderate though.
They certainly are.

I have no idea looking at them how they got to 3rd in this league. I'd say they have the worst first team squad in the top 7 at the moment. They have a lively enough forward line but that is about it.

That's why I think we have to give the manager credit. They would be knackered without him. I really dont think he's had enough credit this season.
