Absolute muppetry aside even if it was realistic you would be looking at 500-600mil to expand by that amount may as well build a new tin pot

I can easily see them finishing 3rd now. They have no one to play of note. I know that hasn't stopped them dropping points to such teams, but they can almost see the finishing line now and I doubt their resolve will falter, tbh.
I look at the first team squad and I really dont know where they've got the points from. Apart from a very decent front three and Lallana they're pretty much nothing.I can't see them losing another game.
They are riutinely turning over sides that are already on the beach and the teams around them have to play each other.
I fancy they will finish top three.
Weak leagueI look at the first team squad and I really dont know where they've got the points from. Apart from a very decent front three and Lallana they're pretty much nothing.
Klopp has plaited sawdust there.
Well we gave them....absolutely handed over....6 of those points this season.I look at the first team squad and I really dont know where they've got the points from. Apart from a very decent front three and Lallana they're pretty much nothing.

I think the truth is a bit more unpalatable than just them getting lucky. They obviously have in the past - and especially that Rodgers season when they near won the title and they received a massive leg up from the officials. But this season I cant think of any outrageous number of decisions that went their way. They look bang average as a squad, but they have two things going for them:We rolled over for them but even then they needed extraordinary goal keeping and an extended Everton injurylist to win both games. They played Arsenal at the right time for both games, Chelsea away was whilst they were still in transition, Spurs did their usual trick of rolling over at Anfield.
All that coupled with extra games in Europe mean probable relegation next year.

1/ They have character and self belief in big games.
2/ They have a manager who has got his head down and got on with a difficult job that the likes of Guardiola and Mourinho would be throwing up their arms in protest over if they had the meagre financial backing Klopp has received.
Mourinho and guardiola wouldn't be al utd and city ir those teams only had liverpool's financesI think the truth is a bit more unpalatable than just them getting lucky. ...or it could place expectation on them.Don't disagree with most of that Dave.
Question for you... regarding their 'character and self belief in big games' - do you thing that this is in any way enhanced by the almost endless 'bigging up' of the RS by the media and especially all the former RS in said media?
RS players assemble at Melwood each day for training with a selection of daily newspapers and no doubt with Sky TV in the changing room area... and it's all Liverpool this and Liverpool that - could this drip-feed of media 'favouritism' be a subliminal help to Klopp and co ?
...or it could place expectation on them.
Imagine our players being expected to go out and win games against those above us? They'd be hiding in the luggage compartment of the coach refusing to get off and into the changing rooms.
And I hate that Klopp isn't insufferable. It's all very disorientating. Someone should tell him he has to be a monster.
