ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

That was always true , throughout my life they've done it grasped victory Brom the jaws of defeat .

However lately with crystanbul, stevie slipping & defeats in finals I have this hope the worm had turned . I think they'll probably spawn something today , and you're right today is the day , but I have this hope that it might just ebb away in hilarious fashion , that's more in hope than expectation though .

Crystanbul and Chelsea that season were down to overconfidence. I think they shot themselves in the foot - and their own fans didn't help either with all the premature triumphalism.

Liverpool know they're under examination here today and they know it's their cup final. A draw is the worst they get, but I'd guess they'll snatch the three points.

Their short term future rests on this game. If they lose today it could have massive ramifications for them. This is the biggest game they've had since the end of 2013/14.

Probably only have to score 1 vs West Brom they don't score many. An I expect them to get a point at Watford if it's needed
I think this City side are erratic. Even though they look favourite for top 4, it wouldn't surprise me if they missed out altogether and finished 5th.

The two finals weren't due to over confidence were they ? Maybe the Sevilla one but certainly not city , I just mean I'm hoping that the recent run can continue .

Big day for Libpool fc.

If they win down there they'll almost certainly qualify, probably in 3rd place IMO. Draw and they still have a chance of a slip up for the other two (and I think one of them might well do). Defeat will sink their CL hopes.

They always tend to rise to the occasion, so I think they'll edge this one 1-0 or 2-1.

As the past has categorically proven though, their achillles heel somewhat ingrained in their psyche is that when they have their very destiny in their own hands, they are well capable of slipping up themselves and simply not rising to the occasion. Through their massive injury list today, The Hammers are short on their established quality personnel so fortune has, not for the first time, favoured the RS. Its their call.

I'm really not arsed, they don't have champions league quality players. I always want them to lose. So that's my 2 pence worth.
