There's always next week lads. I see a very big banana skin waiting in the shape of the Boro' youth team.
Up the Arse' (pardon)

I was referring to "rise to the occasion"

West ham where utterly abysmal mate, the rs looked mediocre first half, and even then wean ham missed an absolute sitter on half time, even at 2-0 they should have had a stone wall pen, which the rs scored immediately on the break when it wasn't given.

Either of those things happen, then we would have seen a similar take if them choking.

For what its worth there home forms where they've been dropping points anyways. Let's see them next week when the crowd expects them to win.

I find it hard to believe they'll fail to beat Boro.

I actually think they'll secure 3rd as City will drop points, IMO.

They had a dog of a second half of the season though. They took 44 points in the first half up to the new year and only 29 points with a game to go. Injuries and that African Cup of Nations hit them hard, I suppose.

So it isn't because they have a crap squad then?

With City a point behind and a game in hand it's possible we might get a tie - or close to one (perhaps in-play at some point next Sunday if Liverpool score first).

Right now

RS 37 75-42 73
MC 36 72-38 72
Ars 36 72-43 69

RS/MC tie for 3rd/4th - example City beat WBA 3-2 and draw 2-2 at Watford or vice versa. Liverpool beat Boro 2-0 - both 77-42 76 points. Most likely of all scenarios. Equally similar examples like 4-1 Liverpool and City win 4-2 and draw 3-3.

RS/Ars tie - unlikely but possible (say for 4th/5th probably) if Arsenal beat Sunderland 3-0 and draw 0-0 with Everton whilst Liverpool lose 0-1 to Boro (75-43 73 points). City could join them in a 3 way tie if they get only 1 point and score 3 concede 5 (e.g. 3-3 and 0-2)
City/Ars could tie but requires City to concede a few goals and only get 1 or 0 points (losing badly at least once) whilst Arsenal get 4 or 3 points (respectively)
