It could also by the same token enable the ref to not give it a second thought and point to the spot pronto. Craig Pawson has in the main come out of it well considering the big call it seemed...but maybe it wasnt so big for him.

craig pawson should have received massive praise for this. 2nd everton penalty at anfield in history, he should be commended all around england for not bottling it where many have before. Surprised graham poll hasn't come out praising him ... then again, we all know why.
