Whilst I find posts like this comforting the odds suggest that one day they will eventually get it right. Without City in the league I’d be legit worried.

They did get it right.
Its just that their talisman slipped on his arse and lost them the league mate.
All the Istanbuls in the world will never make up for that.

I was only suggesting a plan B for the cup tie mate.

We can't laugh at them for overspending can we. State of our transfers. At least they are signing players they know will come in and instantly improve on what they've got. Mane, Salah, Van Dijk. They'll lose Can but won't be arsed. Keita will improve them too. They'll sign another centre back in the summer and a goalkeeper, then they'll likely be the second best team in the league. We'll have to accept them winning the odd cup and getting in the champions league every season again. Shame.

Just a little note to our board, that’s how you nail a much needed signing. We should be doing the same thing with a striker and LB but we won’t.

Yes his attitude is questionable and yes he's had his injury concerns, but grudgingly I must admit it's a pretty darn good signing on their behalf.

He will not miraculously fix their defence because Klopp will still focus on attack rather than defence, alongside playing in front of Mingolet.

However, it would be foolish to disregard the almost instant impact he'll have on them; with a new keeper, they'll be much, much stronger.

Still, £75m for a defender is bloody ridiculous money, although they've obviously got the money for him and Keita. Worrying...
