The thing I nobody said he’s been producing this seasons form since his basle days , but basle were at there peak when he was there and he was good enough for Chelsea to buy him after him playing well against them and Utd, he was banging in goals for fun at Roma and Chelsea didn’t trust him and they have a track record of selling the wrong players . So what is wrong with that ? Subtle digs aside ?
I was just making a comparison about a player having a great run of form (Cisse) and then not continuing it. I haven’t really tracked his career but this season must be an absolute worldie else he wouldn’t (as the player he is this season) have joined the RS for just £40m.

...over half the total football bets this week have been on the Reds to win the Champions League. Amazing that. Our friends from across the park are getting very giddy.
When speaking to two Red friends this morning, their views were polar opposites with regards to their chances in the Champions League.
One, quite hilariously, claimed their attack as 'by far the best in Europe' which would 'totally dominate' the likes of Real, Barca and PSG.
While I reluctantly admitted that their defence was lethal, to claim it was far better than teams with Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo is fanciful.
The other was much more cautious saying they'd face some imperious forward lines along the way while having a rather shaky defence.
Anyway, they rather quickly ended up arguing between each other while I just listened on!
