They only celebrate the big trophies like the best front three in Europe trophy, the beat City at home trophy, the second best team in England without being 2nd trophy, and of course most left footed goals by an Egyptian trophy. They’re in the cabinet right next to Rodgers’ top at Christmas and top at Easter trophies.

They've won the 'haha you said we'd fade with European football but we're second, I mean third, in February trophy' as well.

Don't mention the fact they lost at the first hurdle (or thereabouts) in both domestic cups and had, by far, the easiest group in the champions league as that's irrelevant. Apparently.

I see Knowlsey council just sold them the parcel of land they need to build their new training facility for substantially less than its open market value.

I vaguely remember the purchase of their academy site being similarly dubious.

This of course will never be mentioned again whilst our 'taxpayer funded' stadium will, of course, dominate the headlines.

It will also be disappointing to see our only tangible advantage over them disappear. Finch Farm presently pisses all over Melwood. Their new combined facility looks irritatingly top end.

I was reading a social media post about that yesterday. The council basically did the whole thing in secret so there wouldn't be any opposition to it.

IIRC there's a photo from a paper knocking about of a group of Muslims on a prayer mat inside Anfield getting dogs abuse a couple of seasons back. They were called "terrorists" or some such nonsense.
