Pointless win after a useless Five goals for the Kopites.
And what about them not preparing the pitch to their Opponents specifications to give them the best chance?
Classless.

And an expensive flight to Kiev as well. If there was a guarantee they lose that game then I would take every time. As you say, that deflation they feel will be beautiful. Breathe it in.
Danny Boy really nasty to be gloating if they lose talking of expensive flights and deflation....Your'e right it will be an evening to savour beautiful as you say!

Just insane isn't it.

I said to my mates that the City thing is almost like a challenge to other sets of fans when they are acting as if they are Galatasaray.

These European teams just don't give a flying one. Instead of the police being firm with all the scruffs bouncing on police vans and doing nothing but stand there just left other areas of the ground without policing beforehand.

There has been bad blood between these 2 clubs since the early 80's so you use your head and be smart, get to the ground and do your supporting inside the ground but oh no that seems too difficult a task.

My thoughts are with the fella, hope he pulls through as no matter how much I can't stand that lot you don't want anyone taking it to the extreme

I hope the fans are sensible enough to know if they do go next week not to go looking for trouble though trouble will still probably find them
Sadly this will be true. These ultras are famous for their cowardly hit and run tactics on anyone who is an easy target. Why put yourself in danger, but then again due to the stupidity of their own fans actions, they are distracting police and putting others in potential danger like last night.
Let's hear talkcrap discuss this today because the loss of a supporters life is more important than last nights match.

Really sad news this, but predicted by davek just 2 weeks ago. Nothing to do with their high jinks though was it?

I said a couple of weeks back mate that allowing them to mount successive 'days of rage' welcoming parties outside Anfield would end up in fatalities and that the only time UEFA would act to stop would be after the event. Hopefully it hasn't come to that and the feller makes a recovery, but they are culpable for allowing a fanbase with previous to get out of control again. This poor Liverpool fan's injuries are the result of the Kopite's trying to go all ultra. Shame on UEFA, shame on Liverpool FC, shame on the idiot who committed this act and shame on the Kopite mob who've created these conditions.

The police bear a responsibility as well in my opinion.

I said in a post earlier today that if Roma set up with 3 at the back with Fazio as slow as a carthorse and leave 1v1's for the RS front 3 they will get blitzed.

The tie is over, the RS will score 2-3 over there against that slow defence and also play thorough that unbelievably slow midfield 3 of Naingolan Strootman and Di Rossi.

Shocking from the Roma manager playing 3 at the back in a high line.

You seriously have no life, do you?

Bbc doing an article saying "just give salah the balon d'or now. Just so one eyed and biased, Ronaldo has been on another level once again scoring more than one a game in a much tougher league and how champs league scoring record has been brilliant against much tougher teams.

The RS haven't played any European heavyweights yet, how you can get to the final without having to play any of
Real, barca, bayern, juve, psg, atletico, united and we can even add the two Milan teams with their prestige. Its been an easy ride. Ronaldo has had to play some great teams this comp.

As does the guy that did the stabbing. Just a little bit.

Sole responsibility. The mental gymnastics going on here to link bottles thrown at a coach and a few cringey flares to a mob swinging belts and putting a 50+ year old man in hospital is staggering. No doubt the lads giving the old Nazi salute outside JLA were incensed that the attacked coach was a german brand which lead them to these actions.

Roma have a reputation as bad as any on the continent for violence. I know some lads who are going to the 2nd leg and I'm worried for them.

difficult to respond to incidents when theres a load of lads stood on vans, i imagine

They allowed the situation to develop both last time and this . I’ve been to games both here and abroad and been moved on before we gathered in anything like the numbers that bottled a city coach . It was all over social media , both times , what was happening and in fairly obvious language . The police are all over social media for football so they knew and either chose or failed to prevent it . For me that’s a responsibility that someone carries.

intentional or not, it doesn't take a genius to work out that it how it will be interpreted, I just can't get into the mindset of wanting to intimidate fans, players etc over a footie match, it's next level cult behaviour
