Which would be fine if we hadn't played Patterson, Garner, and Onana who are all the same age or younger than him. Even Myko and McNeil are only slightly older than Simms.

As Eggs says, when numerous managers see a player day in, day out and don't fancy them, it's probably wise to trust their judgment

the only thing with Cannon is the fact he is not super big / tall. So i think best when he plays with another striker. However that is not how Dyche plays.
wonder if he fares well in the role asked of him. but impact sub next season for sure useful squad player as he needs to learn/ grow

He's just under 6 foot. Not a monster for a target man but big enough I would think

I think it's a bit of a bad sign for Simms' career if you rate him highly given your track record.

Whatever that finish was at Old Trafford, showed me the level he’s at. He hasn’t really had a proper go and probably should’ve been ahead of Maupay, but I still can’t see him ever being the answer for us.

Anichebe was never an answer but there were points he chipped in with 5 or 6 goals and looked like Adriano in the Europa League which is a point some are trying to make.

We need to buy a 1st choice striker. DCL and then someone else. That someone else will no doubt get more game time that Dom and if he got 5 or 6 goals a season, that would be good enough. Simms 'could have' be that player as he's young enough to develop and cost us nothing.

Now it'll be Canon.. although he should get enough loan.

But hey, £5mill cover a loan fee I guess.
