Our electricity provider is talking 35% increase. Ffs. Everything needs to be cut back. I will still try and do the 160 mile round trip to see Rovers when I can, but flying over to see Everton at GP with Mrs and Ms BR is now sadly off the radar.

Thankfully retired, the increases in fuel costs are crippling for people commuting.

Thank you putin.

Not read all of this so may have been mentioned, but from a football perspective it may lead to less subscriptions to Sky, and also with businesses struggling maybe less money spent on advertising?

So could this have a knock on effect to Premier League and their spending on players and wages?
No doubt folk will cancel and find other ways of watching or just listen on the radio,or just do other less stressful stuff.
Then get used to not watching and never resubscribe.
Even pick matches to watch at pubs?
Although with drinks overpriced keeping it legal just get a day pass thing..cost a tenner.

With luck, yes.

The Premier League, in particular, is grotesque.

It is bound to have a effect on match going and tv subscriptions. If I have to find an extra 400-500 per month for energy, plus all the extra money for the other cost of living rises, football will be sacrificed.
