I'm just exercising my right of free speech man, lets be honest, there are only a small band of Englanders on here that's taking (uncalled for) offence. Hard done by perhaps?

Hangovers get worse man, no doubt.

Don't see it as uncalled for offence mate. You're just attacking us for no reason simple as. It'd be weird not to take offence. You've made your point about 38 times on here. You don't like England. Point made. We get it. Move on.
Good question about feeling hard done by. Don't feel we have much to feel hard done by though...we are just plain awful. However, we are not out of this world cup yet, and until we are i won't be giving in...not quite yet anyway!

What gives you the impression I don't like England? I reckon you'll turn Slovenia over on Wednesday and then it's game on.

It's just weird watching England overwhelm so much.

Not weird to us mate. Just hugely upsetting.

Thing is, for all the bleeding hearts and that. If England beat Slovenia they are through the next round and could in fact top the group. That's all Capello will care about, success in tournaments is usually based upon who hits form at the right time. As a neutral (!), I just think that something needs to happen, a shake up to get them playing but it all needs to be taken in context. Not many teams have lit up the World Cup so far...

And the Algerian's could say exactly the same about there team. I'm not being patronising, it's just common knowledge, this is how England perform at this level, it's how they have consistently played for a number of years and will continue to do so until there are changes in how they are coached when they are young kids. I don't think it is solely down to attitude, there is a general lack of composure at this level. They look uncomfortable, that's the best I could say about them.

I don't see this 'potential' you talk about, If Capello does do something with them then fair play to him, he'll have done a cracking job in my eyes.

England have got past the opening round in every World cup they've qualified for since 1958. Speaking for myself, I expect us to get the quarter finals because we have done in 9 out of 12 world cups. Any better than that I would be delighted with, any less I would call disapointing.

At the minute, there's a real danger that unless we improve we won't get out of the group stage. For a country rated 8th in the FIFA Rankings, who scored more goals than any other european country in qualifying and are full of players rated amongst the best in europe for their positions, that is disapointing. I don't think it's unreasonable to hope that we can pass the ball well and cross well and shoot well and look dangerous when we have players who have won Champions Leagues and Premierships etc in the team.

I think we can play better than we have done so far and I think we have played better (both at world cups and elsewhere) and I think we have to play better. I don't think thats putting too much expectation on them.

Every fan, of every country has similar expectations.

And I find it amusing that England fans are similtaniously attacked for being too positive and not admiting the truth about the team and also being too negative and not getting behind them.

Yes, yes I am.

Now go on, and apologise to the sound Americans on here for your behaviour.

I am deeply sorry for any offense I might have caused to the Americans.

The idea that any fan is somehow wrong to support their country and get joy from their good results and that this casts doubt on their good character is plain wrong and something that just isn't acceptable.

And I hope that, now I'm a reformed character, we won't see anything like that again on this forum.

Does this reformed character like fruit on their pizza?

Without Chico this forum would no doubt be a happier place.

Im sure jack rodwell would be interested with your stance that English players are all [Poor language removed].

He is right though, is he not? The prem would be utter [Poor language removed] without it's foreign players.. That's just being realistic..
