And may also remind you that Greece won the Euro's not long ago, South Korea, Japan and Turkey got to the Semi's of the Worlds not long ago. It's not about being a big gun, it's about just beating the team in front of you - and anyone can beat anyone it seems.

But I feel we have a right to see a performance from Rooney, from Gerrard, from Lampard, from Lennon and SWP.

And the Algerian's could say exactly the same about there team. I'm not being patronising, it's just common knowledge, this is how England perform at this level, it's how they have consistently played for a number of years and will continue to do so until there are changes in how they are coached when they are young kids. I don't think it is solely down to attitude, there is a general lack of composure at this level. They look uncomfortable, that's the best I could say about them.

I don't see this 'potential' you talk about, If Capello does do something with them then fair play to him, he'll have done a cracking job in my eyes.

I meant potential in the fact we have kids all over the country who want to play football and are involved in tournaments on a weekly basis (My sister has a lad who plays and I went to watch them, and there is some talented kids) - that's what I meant. Grassroots level.

But what your saying is we need to change the way we play/coached - well isn't that a culture issue? Maybe now the kids are exposed to talented foreign players probably more so than what we were when we kids.

Danny can we ban him from all England thread please?

Forums rules- If a member because too much hassle they should be banned. Well Chico is becoming too much hassle in England threads.
