Thatcher hated football fans like she hated the miners and the whole of the north, she was roundly booed by the whole stadium when i went to a rugby league final at wembley in the 70's ( '76 or '78 not sure but prob '78) so she probably wasn't too keen on them either. so as far as football and England is concerned she seemed to hate them as much as you do..... which makes you a bad thatcherite.

In 86 we had Reid, Hodge and Steven in the squad ready to take over once the usual suspects (Bryan Robson, Ray Wilkins etc) had failed once again.

2010 we have Adam Johnson, Jags, Parker, Arteta etc sitting at home.
 
Definite good points on the media there mate, I think it's too early to be writing Capello off as a failure too. One good win against Slovenia on Wednesday and the momentum is back and all is well in the world again, that's the margins.

In the USA thread, I popped up to say that I was enjoying them losing after how smug they were. That was admittedly very bitter. But I'm a bitter hate filled person at the best of times really and especially so when either Everton or England are underperforming.

In this thread you popped up to say that you were loving how [Poor language removed] England are playing. Fine. If you give it out, you have to be able to take it.

You then went on to say anybody who likes england is a racist, a disgraceful belled and a kopite who doesn't care about Everton.

Now, I'm not going to get all offended by that because you're clearly on the wind up but you're not really claiming the moral high ground here, are you?
