That quote, what do you mean by it?

I meant that when I was growing up I wasn't exposed to the range of different types of footballers that kids are being exposed to. When I was younger I wanted to be Lineker, maybe Maradona or Pele. But now kids have variety of choice, exposed to different techniques, skills, tricks, etc...

Agreed. The English players dilute the level of talent in the Premiership.

Well if you remember 1986 we lost 1-0 to Portugal and drew 0-0 with Morocco.

We also have 1 point less than the Germans, 1 point more than the French and 2 points more than the Spanish (only played 1). So in retrospect it ain't all doom and gloom as far as the table lies, but it's the performance and the atmosphere that is disappointing me.

I'm just exercising my right of free speech man, lets be honest, there are only a small band of Englanders on here that's taking (uncalled for) offence. Hard done by perhaps?
