i loved the stat that peter nevill was the only batsman to actually face all 3 bowlers.

and the last wicket was the longest partnership. 33 balls i.e. less than 6 overs haha

Really sloppy batting by England. Alll the accolades from the press and fans appears to have gone to their heads... It's not blood over yet!

275 runs lead with two wickets remaining isn't shabby by any means, but at this rate I doubt we'll reach the 300. If we do, it wont be much over.

That's still a remarkable lead and should easily be enough to win (if it isn't it's ridiculous), but Australia seem to have lifted themselves a bit.

That may mean that their batsman are a little sharper and adds more pressure on our bowlers to get through them before any chase.

Should have just gone out with the aim to defended against their bowlers for a good hour and a half, blunting them and totally demoralising.

Then up the rate as the ball softens to get a good 300 plus lead and declare. Then it's all on our terms and the bowlers could go out with ease.

Maybe it sounds simple talking from here and not out their, however we never, ever make it easy for ourselves. We always give them some light.

Once he gets his pace set and the right length he's bloody dangerous bowler. Still, we shouldn't be letting them get momentum up like they are.

if they got rid of it there would be no point in having umpires. you have to give them some leeway. DRS was introduced to eliminate the howler, not over-rule every single decision. you can't be 100% it;s reliable itself anyway. it's a good system.
