Well they are not my team, that is Everton, but they are my country. Tony Barrett is a kopite who along with the rest of his fellow fans enjoy the bumpy bandwagon of the Spanish sides, that is not supporting Spain because you feel them in your heart - it's supporting Spain because they are a very good side and the fact that Torres is like a god to them. When Torres goes, and he will eventually - there will be no Spain supporting fans in Liverpool.

Now I am desperate to see England win because I believe I and all English fans deserve it, if they lose I will be upset, but I will get over it.

I have no problem with your opinion, it's with those who go out of their way to make a point of hating England.

I think that's a bit harsh, I know lots of scousers and Liverpool's fans who follow England, and they don't all support Spain either. Barett makes a fair point though, whatever background he may come from, Kopite or no Kopite.

I agree with your last point, unless it's Mr Azul ofcourse. I'm not sure I get Goat's point though, not supporting England because of Emile Heskey? I'm sure every squad in the history of the World cup has had that calibre of player. With a few exceptions ofcourse, but then England aren't the likes of Brazil, they never have been.

I actually have less hope this year than I ever done before, which is strange considering how dominant we were in qualifying. It's still fun to watch tho.

Ok maybe it is, maybe it's cos I see the minority who make a point of wearing Spain colours, or maybe it's the straw poll of around 5 Kopites I have known who have all said the same thing about Spain. It's deffo a bandwagon thing though, wonder how many of them will be supporting the USA though? bet that belter who burnt the flag will.

Azul is ok cos well what does he know about anything? In all honesty?

Well in order to show support, you have to have belief in what your supporting and an England team with Heskey in it doesnt really fill me with glee.

Despite the fact that England actually look a better side with him in it?

And it's not like England have many options for his role/position in the side. Carlton Cole is the only player that springs to mind.

????

Hes badly gash, dont even try and convince me otherwise, Crouch would be a far better option, at least he would provide a goal threat.

Yeah clearly, if Heskey and Carrallaa dont get on the pitch, England will have my full support, even with Stevie G laar on the pitch, who clearly is worthy of a place.

Well I couldn't give a flyer if Benitez was brought in to manage them - it's not about clubs.

Go and have a look at Rooney's goalscoring record with Heskey in the side, he clearly benefits from playing alongside a player of this style. And that's what Capello is aiming for, he's trying to get the best out of his World class talent.

As I said, the options are limited, bringing a Carlton Cole would just be like for like with less experience. Who else is there of that style? It's about balance, something you'd never understand. Hopefully you grasp it in a few years, football that is.
