I asked about my lads who are 11 and 15. They said both need proof of lateral flow result. Think one of the posters above has referenced the same. For what it’s worth, I very much doubt they will actually check this at the gate but Sod’s Law they will!

Not at all, I think people should be able to venture out to wherever they want.
However, you can’t pre-empt blaming people for not wearing their masks, or not being vaccinated when at an event that has packed 40k people in to a stadium.
You’re right, people don’t have to wear a mask in much the same way that staff don’t have to grant them admission into the ground. If you won’t put yourself to the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask I’d argue you don’t deserve the privilege of attending a footy match.
