Are you absolutely sure of this? I’m double jabbed but my boys (11 and 14) who are also STH will be with me for Saints game and I was under the impression they didn’t need proof of negative result?!

Fan Services state that anyone over eleven will need to have proof of testing.

I asked about my lads who are 11 and 15. They said both need proof of lateral flow result. Think one of the posters above has referenced the same. For what it’s worth, I very much doubt they will actually check this at the gate but Sod’s Law they will!

I just hope everyone is sensible, its not hard to get a test, and not hard to wear a facemask going in, weve not been Goodison for ages, a slight inconvenience isnt much to ask.

If you cant be bothered doing either, and cant be bothered getting jabbed, before the match Everton are showing names and faces of people who have died over the last 12 month, which will include covid deaths, watch that and hang your head in shame if you cant stick to simple rules to.project people around you.

Wearing a mask isn't a rule and that's where the problem lies. Can see a few arguments coming next Saturday.

Or, if you’re in a vulnerable category, don’t go.

40k people packed in to a stadium is going to produce some transmission, even with people wearing masks and being vaccinated.

You’re right, people don’t have to wear a mask in much the same way that staff don’t have to grant them admission into the ground. If you won’t put yourself to the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask I’d argue you don’t deserve the privilege of attending a footy match.
