Luv der beatles
Luv sonia
Luv me trackies

Simple as

Scouser til I die, I'm gonna be a scouser til I die

I haven't heard one media outlet in this country bring up the matter of massive home advantage for that lot.

If Italy were playing the final in Rome, having played all but one of 6 other games in Rome, there would be a massive outcry of foul play.

When Italy win this on Sunday they will be truly worthy champions of Europe, unlike England who will never have earned the right to legitimacy.
No there wouldn’t Dave, stop chatting wham

How is that at all relevant?

Is it preferable to play all but one of your games at home or half them?

A poor team wouldnt win no matter where they played.

A good team will. England are currently a really good team, as are Italy, hence why they are in the final. The better of the two on Sunday will win.

Exhibit A is Scotland. Played all but one of their games at Hampden. Lost them both, got a draw away at Wembley. Poor team.

Similar to the "home advantage" in this forum that gives you the impunity to call people "mill town nazis. Geordie halfwits and Cockney serfs."??

The pen in the English media:

"It's a bit of luck that came our way...every team that wins a trophy has a bit of luck along the way".

THAT IS HOW THEY ARE JUSTIFYING IT.

Utter hypocrisy.

Then we'll never really know how good or bad this England team were in this tournamant on that metric, will we?

"The penalty decision was extremely soft"

Allow me to rephrase that for you...

"The penalty was won by a cheating player throwing himself desperately to the ground".
All teams try to gain any advantage they can and players will go to ground easily. I don't think many people like it very much. The worst example of that in this tournament was Immobile against Belgium. The one last night was at least debatable. The Immobile one was pure cheating.

Quite possibly it was.
Here's one from last night though, it seems England fans do actually still bring union jacks

And even that one is the White Ensign - i.e. the England flag with the union flag in the top left quadrant.

I'm not denying people still conflate England and Great Britain / United Kingdom (the national anthem thing really doesn't help and needs to change), but there's a clearer division when it comes to football than there used to be.

You fell at the first fence: England are NOT the host country. Please disabuse yourself of that notion.

London was one of 12 host cities for Euro2020. THAT IS ALL. Their path forward was cleared for them.

Please read the word 'If' & 'In normal circumstances'.

As in, if it was a normal tournament then would you have been as outraged, will you be as outraged if Germany win it in 3 years time. It was a hypothetical question not a statement of fact.

Not sure how that is falling?

No need to shout, either. You are one very angry person. You say 'that is all' and the path was cleared for them, as one of the posts above states, they won the bid to host the semis and finals just like Germany won the bid to host it fully next time. It is not a conspiracy, it is how International tournaments work, this one has been a unique case where London is one of the host cities but it is the one that has the latter stages.
