Im choosing DCL for a penalty, because he never misses them, whether that’s England youth teams, for us when he gets a chance (pre-season etc)…
Personally i think it’s criminal that he never got more game time… whilst Mount kept getting 90 minutes.

Can’t fault Southgate for his enthusiasm and what he’s done in rebuilding sole pride in the team again. But he’s his Owen worst enemy.

That game was there for the taking in the first half, Italy sat and invited pressure and regrouped after half time and for me totally dominated.

Hes got so many attacking options and he just didn’t utilise them at all, frustratingly.

Was great to be there mind.

Honestly, because he knows that if he doesn't do that the usual people will just dismiss it as being "political" like that's a bad thing.

It's like when talking football with a RS you always have to give them a sloppy bit of praise otherwise they start to get angry and dismissive of everything.

Nothing is ever as simple as you may think. People don't wont confrontation for a whole variety of reasons. That does not make them complicit!

But if it was only a minority as some are suggesting, surely enough people would speak out? I think it's because far more people think it's acceptable and are happy to go along with it when they think it's the majority.
 
All the media talk about the penalty takers is missing the point completely. England lost that game last night when Italy equalised. Southgate didn't know how to control the game and the loss on penalties was just the culmination of the England players' heads going.
