Honestly lids I would love to see us in the Europa League.

It would be MUCH better imo if it transformed back into the old "Uefa Cup" format, but it's still a decent competition and one where where I think we have a good chance of doing well in it.

It allows us to watch more Everton. That's one bonus. Another bonus is that we potentially get to see the youth/fringe players show their worth at a good level. Playing decent european opposition is something we haven't had for a while, we're coming up to a level now where we need to be tested by teams outside of England. Especially with the style we now have, the thought of bossing teams from all over Europe is something very tasty indeed.

Incredible nights will come, I firmly believe that. There's no reason why we can't go all the way in this competition. Maybe the CL was a step too far for us this year, maybe we aren't quite ready for that yet. Europa will prepare us and the experienced gained from it will be vital.

Gotta walk before you can run, I'm looking forward to it.

Martinez is clever enough to be able to manage this competition alongside the likes of the League, FA Cup and League Cup. Plus, the football we play will help us in Europe, 100%. European Football needs to be back at Everton Football Club, simple as that. We'll get to the Champions League soon enough.

If we finish in the 5th place we will start from the 4th qualifying round in Europa League. If we finish 6th place we will start from 3rd qualifying round. That's 2 extra games that we can and must avoid...

In the event the FA Cup winners are qualified for the UEFA Champions League the FA Cup runners-up will qualify, but in the place reserved for the lowest ranking Barclays Premier League representative. The place with direct access to the Group Stage will be given to the club that finishes in the highest position in the Barclays Premier League of the clubs qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.

Off the PL site so if Arsenal win the cup we go right into the group stages

If we finish 6th Arsenal win the cup we go into 4qf stage

I'm actually looking forward to this now. Martinez will surely bring in as many quality players as he can to overcome the additional fixtures and I'm just happy that we'll be able to watch Everton twice a week. Sure it has it's downsides but there's not much we can do either way, so we may as well enjoy it.

It's just such a pain in the arse that the third placed teams from the Champions League group stages drop down as looking at the teams currently expected to be involved you'd say we would have a decent to good chance of getting to the semi finals.

I would love it if we get back into europe, think we will have some great nights home and away and i'm excited about going into European games with the players and manager we have.
