Some really well known names on that list. I've never understood why the Europa gets such a bad press in this country. Hope we give it a really good shot. The night of the Fiorentina game was one of the best atmospheres I've known at Goodison for years.

I'm hoping we get Borussia Monchengladbach at some point - remember going to see us play them back in 1970/71 in the then European Cup (Champions League equivalent, but for champions only). Both games finished 1-1 so it went to penalties. They'd only been introduced that season - it was toss of a coin before that - and ours was the first match ever to be decided by them. I remember being behind the goal at the Gladwys Street end where the pens were taken. When we missed our first one and they scored theirs half the crowd (including me) thought we were out as we didn't realise you got 5 pens - thought it was sudden death. Anyway, we got through so although some people may think our record in penalty shoot-outs is average, we were the first team ever to progress in this way.

Inter are most likely through. Its perfectly safe and it's usually the British fans causing any trouble. If you can get tickets in the home area you won't see any problems unless youre in with the ultras or youre being particularly antagonistic.

Oh Inter will be a great day out, if Milan is anything to go by....

All hang around Duomo Square, and they sort out a free shuttle bus for the away supporters, taking them directly to the station, before you get on a Warriors esque school bus, with no windows, and the AC Fans were trying to stick like screwdrivers through the tiny gaps, which is a bit 'woah', but the people of Milan were great, it's bizarre to think 100m south in Florence they're absolute dogs
